Our top-of-the-line corset is a reproduction of an extant garment from the early Elizabethan era. In place of reeds, we used 44 pieces of steel boning and hand-hammered end caps on each tip of the boning. The canvas fabric and our superb sewing techniques won't let the boning poke through the fabric!
Side-tab boning is designed so the corset doesn't pinch your waist at the hips, and the front has a wooden busk -- both period construction techniques.
