The chemise was worn under all Medieval ladies' clothing. It kept the outer clothing cleaner by absorbing perspiration. It was often slept in as well. This is a beautiful handmade medieval style chemise. It is made from rayon, which feels soft and silky.
Rayon is a manufactured fabric made from all-natural wood pulp fibers. It is incredibly versatile, very breathable. Although pictured, not available in brown. Only colors are cream and black.
