Townswoman Dress is inspired to represent the daily clothing style of medieval women. This medieval dress was worn by middle-class women, not nobles like queens and princesses. This makes a perfect SCA dress and will be envied by other re-enactors who paid a higher price for a lower quality medieval dress. The Townswoman dress was popular in XIV-XV centuries.
The Townswoman dress is very comfortable and well made. A lot of work went into its crafting as can be seen in the pictures. It was pretty much the style worn by townswomen as they went about their daily chores and goals. This medieval dress consists of 3 parts:
• 100% natural flax tunic with buttons on sleeves
• 100% natural thin crepe-wool ladies surcoat dress with ethnic trim
• Natural flax medieval style ladies hat
